This is how we removed a couple dents from the right back panel of a Porsche 911 Cabriolet. It's important to note that the paint has never been repainted original from factory. This makes it safe to pull the dents using the factory paint's adhesion. Then two or down for a perfect finish. Perfect...

I’m very fortunate to find Pak and Vancouver Dent Pro online as my Forester XT had a disagreement with the wood trim of the overhead garage door and suffice to say the rear passenger door buckled. I’ve used paintless dent removal/repair services before and understood what is involved in this process and went back to talk to a PDR business in which I had dealt with in 2017. As a result of the damage and having a visual assessment performed they were reluctant to work on it as they did not believe they would able to successfully perform the repair, as the rear of the door that aligns with the wheel arch was also affected. I’ve consulted with a regular body shop and they indicated that they were going to pull the dent and repaint the door for over three times which I’ve paid and not comfortable with assessment performed by the estimator. Undeterred, I’ve looked further for other PDR business that could possibly perform this repair and when I found Vancouver Dent Pro’s website and P...

Dent pro review - PDR, the miracle, the 8th wonder in the world For us car guys, what is more irritating than not being able to wash/wax/polish your beloved ride and show how wonderful it is on a beautiful sunny day? I would say the constant reminder from an unexpected damage, and the inability to keep your car in that "perfect" state. Fast forward to the discovery of an untimely fall of a motion sensor security light from the horizontal structural beam of my car port one morning, then wished I could've turn back time and not park there the night before. Long story short, after contemplated on my best course of action, I decided to give PAK a call and see if it's something we could fix with the PDR (Paintless Dent Removal). As soon as I got there, PAK jumped right in there and tried to evaluate the damage. I swear, if he could've repair it there, he would've done it within that 30 mins unscheduled meet. He's that awesome and efficient! Unfortunately, damage is too acute and PAK ...

Proper paintless dent repair

Paintless dent removal is partly problem solving and partly ART. It is performed by logically determining a repair plan and then artistically reshaping the metal back into its original form with specialty tooling and using highly skilled techniques. The ART is the exact sensitivity of how hard to move the sheetmetal.

Paintless dent repair technicians at Vancouver Dent Pro are not self trained but trained at legitimate specialty schools just for paintless dent removal. After basic training, it takes 800 - 1000 hours of practice just to repair a quarter sized dent perfectly.  80% of the time, this is done by accessing the back of the damaged area. In the other major process, called Glue pull PDR, the damage is pulled from the outside through the paint with adapters hot-glued to the surface.

These factors make it extremely important that the technician is experienced or well versed, as once a “repair” has been done poorly, it is very difficult to turn back the clock. At this time it’s usually necessary to remove the paint, grind and fill the surface to prepare for repaint in a conventional Body-shop.

Estimating the cost of PDR typically involves size across, depth, and location. many times dents exist on bodylines which also add complexity to a repair because there is much more care and effort to repair these dents without damaging the paint. Sometimes panels need to be removed to gain access to the area behind the dent. All the above factors play a role in the cost of a repair.

When you consider your options in the case of any damage to you vehicle  choose Vancouver Dent Pro! We are committed to your absolute satisfaction.

Vancouver Dent Pro has PDR specific training and certification from two world renowned  schools:

  1. United States (Top Gun PDR Training) and
  2. Europe (Stanliner PDR Training)

*We are also vetted as Master Level PDR tech with ARC. https://certifiedpdr.com/Pak+Narlin
ARC has a double blind system to verify that our work demonstrates mastery in PDR.

*We are also certified for EV & Hybrid safety competent by IMI (England)
High voltage competency is extremely important for the safety of your EV and Hybrids like Tesla and Prius, respectively. A high voltage surge from incompetency can arc and catch a vehicle on fire and be fatal for the technician.

Be assured your vehicle is being repaired by a highly qualified professional.
